Iain Pearce

As Chief Finance Officer and member of the Aviva Investors Executive Committee, Iain leads the Finance Function and is responsible for the financial management of Aviva Investors including financial planning, business performance, capital management, financial reporting and tax. He is also plays a critical role in shaping and driving the strategy of Aviva Investors and supporting the transformation change agenda. 

Iain has over 30 years’ experience in finance and financial services and brings deep industry knowledge spanning annuities, wealth management, long and short-term insurance, banking, asset management and equity release businesses. 

Iain moved to Aviva Investors in April 2024, having previously been Chief Finance Officer of the Aviva Insurance, Wealth & Retirement (IWR) business.  Before joining Aviva in 2020, Iain was Group CFO at MS Amlin. Prior to this Iain spent 14 years at Old Mutual plc, the South African Financial Services Group, in a number of senior Finance and leadership roles. Iain is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW), he qualified with KPMG London where he spent 10 years in Audit and Consulting.

Iain holds a BSC (Hons) in Economics and a MA in International Financial Analysis from Newcastle University.
