Stefanos Kourtis

In my role as innovation lead, I focus on developing and delivering technology use cases that unlock real business value. I work with both internal enterprise capabilities and external partners to create forward-thinking solutions that support our strategic priorities.  

A big part of my work is about enabling a tech-savvy culture – making sure our teams are equipped with the right skills and mindset to lead through change and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry. 

I’ve been with Aviva Investors since 2017 and recently stepped into this role within the CIO function. Before that, I worked in Strategy & Operations, which gave me a strong foundation in aligning business objectives with technology-driven solutions.  

I’ve led complex projects and managed supplier relationships, ensuring seamless delivery and operational success. 

I hold a BSc in Real Estate from the University of Reading, where I specialised in Commercial Appraisal and Asset Management. My career has always been about finding smarter ways to solve problems – and I’m excited to keep pushing boundaries through innovation.
